Her name is Kristi M. McDowell. She’s basically awesome. That is to say, she has a tenuous grasp of reality and the audacity to think that someone actually cares about what she has to say.
First and foremost, she is a writer. Her credits include comic work as the head writer of “The Poptastic League” and of the wildly famous webcomics “Retail” which turned into “Departmental.” There are also several short stories sitting in a portfolio awaiting the courage to see the light of day. Completed works are “A Little Less Conversation,” “Beautiful Summer,” “Call Waiting,” “and “Cast Away”. She also has a slew of fan fiction that she is not proud of.
Currently in production are two novellas, a novel with the tentative title of “Substance” and two graphic novels called, respectively “A Planet’s Cry” and “Burn.”
She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BA in English: writing. She has an AA in Liberal Arts from Northern Essex Community College. She lives in Townsend, MA with her dog, Samson, and her favoritest lady, Sarah.
